I would like to introduce myself to you if you have not met me already. My name is Gary Zolty. I am married with three children.
I have limited my dentistry to Endodontics (root canal) since 1998 and would welcome any referrals.
My special interest in endodontics is non-surgical root canal retreatments, but I also extend my speciality to resorption/perforation repair, separated file removal, medico-legal reports, endodontic surgery and post endodontic restoration. I have completed an advanced postgraduate endodontic technique course at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA (1998).
I have completed a two-year, postgraduate Higher Diploma in Endodontics at the University of Stellenbosch, S.A. and achieved cum laude.
I hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) degree from University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, 1991.
I have completed a Masters of Science (MSc) degree (endodontics). The title of my clinically based thesis was: Factors that May Influence the Prognosis in non-Surgical Retreatments.
I have presented lectures on Endodontics to other specialists in study groups for continuing education. I have also presented and run full day seminars on endodontics, 2003-08. (St Ann's Dental Education Course and The Dental Academy) and 2009-11 (The Mall Advanced Dentistry- Dare). I have created and present a 2-day intensive practical, clinical and knowlege based microsurgical endodontic (apicectomy) course in the UK (2015, 2017 and 2020)
I have had articles published in various journals:
The Prevalence and Significance of Sealing Accessory and Lateral canals. A Review of Literature;
Diagnosis and Treatment of a Developmental Defect Induced Alveolar Abscess: A Case Report;
Music, a Component of Preparation;
A case for Microsurgery
But my best advocates are my completed and successful root treatments. If you think I can help, please give a call, and I’ll do my best to see your patient’s as quickly as possible.
